Many updates are coming soon. Been slammed beyond belief lately, if I thought last year was chaos, I had another thing coming. One thing that has been helping is some great jams, as of late I have been loving the new ETID record "Ex Lives". It has all the chaos and raw, powerful energy that their early records were made on but with mucccchhhh better production and a underlying confidence to really do some damage.. and damage is done in spades on this record. Been blasting non stop!
Oh and if someone could tell Madonna to just stop...stop stop....tripple jump kick, skip to my lou please land on the top of stop...making music... I'd appreciate it...Thannnkkksss a bunch Milton!

Here is the JUXTAPOZ ad for my show with Linnea this coming December at Thinkspace Gallery. I can't deny that I am getting more and more excited/nervous/spastic about this show. It has been a full year in the making and as it gets closer and I am down to working on the last paintings I cant help but feel a second wind come over me. Huge thank you to everyone that has been sending such warm words of encouragement and support, they mean the world. More posts and updates coming soon!
It has been far too long since my last post. There has been a ton of changes and a hectic schedule between my last post and now, but I'm happy to say its been energy well spent. I have relocated and moved into a new studio which is awesome and I have been spending a lot of time in that new studio preparing for my largest show to date which is rapidly approaching. I have a little over two months before my two person show at Thinkspace Gallery this December and I wish I could share more of the work with you, but for now it has to stay pretty hush hush so I have included a teaser shot of one of the paintings that will be on display this December. Other than that I have been inspired by a lot of great music, some of which I have posted videos for below, I hope you enjoy them. I will be posting more info and such as the show grows nearer and now that I am more settled I hope to be posting and updating much more. Hope all is well!
And if you have some time I definitely recommend doing some exploring on their site, its got some really fun features and posts that you might just fancy. A big thank you to everyone over there for having me!
Really really digging the newish Foals album. I really enjoyed their previous effort but the growth in this album has made it one delicious piece o' ear candy! This song is on repeat!
A blast from the past is this track from The Fall of Troy. They broke up last year, fortunately I was able to see them live a few times before they split. I hadn't heard this track in what seemed like ages but I heard it a few weeks back and now its a regular play again. The ending gets me every time!
A proper post is long overdue and I do intend to make one, hopefully later tonight I can do a process post on my latest work. But lately I've been working non stop it seems clocking in 14-16 hours a day on the regular and I feel pretty much zombie exhausted constantly so I wanted to make a music post dedicated to those jams that have been keeping me motivated to keep going...so thanks you lovely heavy jam jams...where would I be without you?!?!?
The mighty nice folks over at Juxtapoz recently posted an interview I did with them in support of my upcoming show this Saturday. To see the interview click the link below. I will be having some more posts coming soon, including one documenting "The New Realism" show coming up. Hope this finds everyone well!

Greetings! I do realize this is over a week late and I havent been doing my blogger duty very well lately and I do appologize. However, better late than never! Last Saturday I took part in Thinkspace Gallery's 5 Year Anniversary Show, and in a word it was incredible! I am so honored to be able to take part in this show and I want to warmly thank all involved for making this night so special! I got to meet and mingle with SO many amazing people that night. I got to meet Aaron Nagel, Joshua Petker, Ekundayo, Mia, Dabs & Myla, Derek Gores and on and on and on! Than I went next door over to LaBasse Gallery and got to see a personal favorties Eric Fortunes new body of work, and his work is so sickeningly good! So proud of the entire Thinkspace team and if this show is any indicator their future is looking nothing but bright! A huge thank you again to everybody who came out in support and to the entire Thinkspace staff! For more information, opening night photos and to view the show online please visit: www.thinkspacegallery.com
